Absolutely. In the Startup Programs tab, you can see a complete list of Login Items, Launch Agents, and System Daemons. This allows you to disable “background” apps that might be slowing down your Mac’s boot time or tracking your activity without your knowledge.

Most user-added extensions are safe to remove and will simply reset those features to their default state. However, we recommend being cautious with “core” or system extensions, as removing them could change how certain parts of your Mac behave.

No. App Cleaner & Uninstaller is designed to ignore your personal documents. If you uninstall an app like Photoshop or Word, your projects, spreadsheets, and photos remain untouched, and it does not delete virtual machine files. It only removes the temporary files the app needs to run.

No. Apple protects core system apps to prevent your Mac from breaking. Following Apple’s guidelines, we don’t allow the removal of these built-in apps to ensure your system remains stable.

Yes. By default, the app moves files to the Trash rather than deleting them permanently. You can restore them. Please, make sure this option is enabled in the Settings → the Remove tab.

Currently, the app is optimized to manage applications on your main (active) macOS drive. It does not support uninstalling apps from secondary or external hard drives.

Simply download and install the latest version. Once it’s running, you can actually use the new version of App Cleaner & Uninstaller to remove the old one.

Yes. Simply drag any app into the window, and we’ll find its service files.

App Cleaner & Uninstaller supports 9 languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Ukrainian, Japanese, and Chinese. The app follows your Mac’s system language by default. To change it specifically for this app, go to System Settings → General → Language & Region. Scroll to Applications, add App Cleaner & Uninstaller, and pick your preferred language. Read more.

App Cleaner & Uninstaller checks removed applications for a complete cleanup. When an application is deleted in a regular way, we remind you to get rid of its service files and related items. To enable this function, go to Settings → General and turn on the “Detect apps moved to Trash and offer full removal” function.

Yes. If there are apps you never want to see in the list, go to Settings → Skip List and add them there.

Check your Junk or Spam folders first. If you paid via PayPal, the key is sent to your PayPal email address. If you still can’t find it or think there was a typo in your email, contact us at support@nektony.com, and we’ll send you your license key.

It’s easy: just uninstall the app from your old Mac first. Then, download it on your new Mac and use your existing license key to activate it.

To update your payment method for subscription renewal, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your account on the PayPro Global platform.
2. Go to Payment Methods.
3. Save the changes to ensure your subscription renews smoothly.

We use PayPro Global payment system. To cancel your subscription, do the following:

1. Log in to your PayPro Global account.
2. Click Subscription in the left panel.
3. Locate App Cleaner & Uninstaller and click to cancel your subscription.

Follow these steps:

1. Open App Cleaner & Uninstaller.
2. Go to its Settings → switch to the Advanced tab​.
3. Scroll down and click Remove. This will completely uninstall the app.
